Board of Directors

Hafiz Farooq Ahmad is the Chairman, Board of Directors of Ghani Global Glass Limited. He has an exceptional academic career and did his Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Illinois, Chicago, USA, during 1996. He worked for a period of six years with Applied Materials America, which is the biggest semiconductor’s capital manufacturing company in the world.

Mr. Farooq has a patent in his name with the government of the USA for the manufacturing of CBD cobalt chips. He also holds a patent for cobalt deposition in the US Department of Justice from Applied Materials.

During 2003, he returned to Pakistan when Ghani Group decided to set up the first coated, reflective float glass plant in Pakistan, equipped with the latest state-of the art technology. He joined as director of Ghani Float Glass Limited. He was the main person involved in the commissioning of 1^st Float Glass Plant in Pakistan. He managed to commission the plant during 2005 and brought it into production in a very short time. Thereafter, during 2006 this company merged into Ghani Glass Limited. Thereafter, Mr. Farooq was appointed as Chief Operating Officer of this project.  Mr. Farooq managed to introduce superior-quality clear, green, and brown float glass colors from 2mm to 12mm range which were very much appreciated in glass market.

Under his leadership and excellent entrepreneurial skills and management qualities, the float glass project attained the best possible production efficiency and produced a superior-quality product mix in shortest possible period. In the result Ghani Glass Ltd. showed continuous growth and earned millions as foreign exchange for exporting this unconventional item.

During October 2007, Mr. Farooq along with his brothers formed Ghani Global Group and setup a state-of-the art industrial and medical gases manufacturing project near Lahore in the name of Ghani Gases Limited (Now Ghani Chemical Industries Limited and Ghani Global Holdings Limited).

Ghani Global Glass Limited was incorporated in Pakistan as a private limited company on October 04, 2007 as Ghani Tableware (Private) Limited under the repealed Companies Ordinance, 1984 (now the Companies Act, 2017). Ghani Global Glass Limited (the Company) was listed on Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) in 2015. The company is principally engaged in the manufacturing and sale of glass tubes, glass-ware, vials and ampules and chemicals.

Hafiz Farooq Ahmad is certified director in pursuance to code of corporate governance.

In addition to Ghani Global Glass Limited, Hafiz Farooq Ahmad is the Managing director of Ghani Global Holdings Limited and Chief Executive Officer of Ghani Chemical Industries Limited.

Mr. Atique Ahmad Khan is a qualified Mechanical & Electrical Engineer. Being a successful industrialist, he has a diversified experience of more than 28 years of Glass, Textile, Industrial and Medical Gases and Automobile Sectors. He has frequently traveled to Europe, America, Canada, China and Gulf countries to select machinery, get himself updated on the latest development in the industry, and gain a lot of technical, production and marketing experience. He also serves as a director in other Ghani Global Group companies. Mr. Atique has a seasonal personality and participated in many international and national fairs, business conferences and seminars. He has excellent entrepreneurial skills and management qualities. Mr. Atique Ahmad Khan is a certified director in pursuance of to code of corporate governance.

Mr. Abdullah Ahmad is a highly talented and proactive member of the Board of Directors of Ghani Global Glass Limited. He is Certified Director in pursuance to Code of Corporate Governance. From last few years, he is engaged in business of Ghani Global Group.

Mst. Hafsa Masroor is a highly talented Certified Director in pursuance to Code of Corporate Governance. She holds degree of Bachelor of Laws – LLB (Hons.) from the University of London. She remained on the board of directors of Ghani Global Holdings Limited for more than two years.
